Meet Cameron McDowell!

Welcome! I’m Cameron McDowell, Founder and Principal Recruiter of TBC Holdings LLC.

I didn’t start this firm to be another recruiter blasting resumes and hoping something sticks. I built TBC Holdings to be a real hiring partner for companies that actually care about who they bring in, not just filling a seat.

My approach is simple:
Understand the business. Then find the right person. In that order.

My Story!

Over the past 6 years, I’ve worked with growth-stage companies, privately owned businesses, and leadership teams across manufacturing, sales, logistics, IT, hospitality, real estate, finance, and professional services. After quickly climbing the corporate ladder prior to becoming a one man Avenger of Recruitment Chaos(ARC), I realized there are very different industries, but one same reality amongst all; hiring is one of the most important decisions a company makes. So I don’t treat it like a numbers game. Here’s what I focus on:

  • Real intake conversations

  • Market and compensation reality (including telling you when a “unicorn” doesn’t exist)

  • Targeted outreach to the right people, not just applicants

  • Structured evaluation 

  • Clear, honest communication, even when it’s uncomfortable

Every search I take on is personal. When a company trusts me with a role, they’re trusting me with their growth, their culture, and sometimes their sanity. I take that seriously. I move fast. I stay transparent. And I don’t disappear when things get tough.

I’m wired for discipline and consistency. Early mornings. Follow-ups. Protecting relationships. Doing what I said I’d do. My reputation matters to me. So do the clients I work with and the candidates I represent.

I want hires that change the trajectory of a business.

Outside of recruiting, I spend my time working out, coaching sports, giving back through my nonprofit PluggedInBC, and making memories with my beautiful wife and our blended family of seven kids (yes, it’s madness sometime, and yes, I love it).
